Home to a talented bunch of freelancers and small businesses, Golden Handshake provides the opportunity for coworking in a beautiful architecturally designed environment alongside like-minded people within Melbourne’s CBD.
You’ll spend your days in the company of established designers, film-makers, consultants, architects, developers and the ghosts of Junkee (they recently had to move. We miss them). And you’ll share a building with an exciting rooftop event space and the online juggernaut, Etsy.Scroll Down
There’s no bigger desk than a Golden Handshake desk. At 2.3m x 82cm all of our desks give you plenty of room to spread out and breathe. And each desk butts up to a privacy screen so you can stay in your zone when you need to. All desks also come with a set of drawers.
The space packs fibre internet (mid 2017), heating/cooling, heaps of natural light and openable windows for when the weather is tasty.
There’s a spacious meeting room with a presentation screen, polished hardwood floors throughout, shared colour printer, a car park next door, lockers, kitchenette, bike parking and more plants than a small nursery.
You’re welcome to use the space as a business/mailing address. There’s 24-hour access and heaps of great local food options (we’ll steer you in the direction of the choicest spots).
Desks in our coworking space are $650 (inc GST) per month plus one month bond. That price is all-inclusive. We’ve provided almost everything so you can just cruise in and get about doing whatever it is you do.
We operate on month-to-month terms with one month notice when you leave.
We welcome individuals and small teams who are cool with renting on a per-desk basis.
Discounts may apply for teams of 4+.
So if you’re looking for a professional shared office in the CBD without the overheads of the city or the over-the-top bro-bluster of many coworking spaces, then drop us an email and come get a feel for the place and our people.
You can even trial a desk for a couple of days if that makes you feel more comfy about making a decision. We get it. Setting up in a shared office space can feel a bit daunting.
